Research and Data initiatives

Introduction

Autism Alliance of Canada accelerates research and learning systems.

Our initiatives strive to build bridges across islands of research and policy. The goal is to advance community-driven projects that inform provincial and national policies and lead to an evidence-informed National Autism Strategy.

We champion the participation of persons with lived experience in all phases of research to ensure that research meaningfully reflect the needs of Autistic people and their families.

Autism Alliance of Canada supports and develops projects that:

  1. Are prioritized by the community and policy makers

  2. Involve Autistic and neurodivergent persons of all ages; persons with lived experience and families

  3. Advance pan-Canadian collaboration

  4. Leverage existing research infrastructure to reduce duplication
