How to Bid in the CALS2025 Auction

Step-by-step

Here is everything you need to know to participate and support artists and advocacy through your bids.

  1. Visit the auction website
    Click this link to access the website.
    You can also scan the QR code below

  2. Viewing auction items
    To browse the full gallery of auction items click the green “View All Items” button located at the left or at the bottom of the page.
  3. Selecting an Item
    Click on the photo of the item you’d like to bid on to view more details.
  4. Placing your bid
    Enter your bid amount in the field next to “CAD $”
    Follow the prompts to complete your bid submission.

Please note, all virtual artwork pieces are with the artist and shipping will need to be arranged after the auction. Details are available for each auction item in the item description

Things to know about the auction

  1. Understanding Reserve Bids and Donations
    Art items have a reserve bid, which is the minimum amount that will go directly back to the artist. Any amount raised above the reserve bid will be considered a donation to Autism Alliance of Canada, supporting our ongoing work and advocacy.
  2. Who Can Bid?
    Bidding is open to all attendees — both in person and virtual participants are welcome to join in and place bids.
  3. Auction Timing
    Opens: April 29, 2025 at 5:00 PM EDT
    Closes: April 29, 2025 at 7:00 PM EDT

    You can place your bids at any time during this two-hour window.
  4. Winning Bids & Payment
    When the auction ends, winning bidders will be notified automatically via email.
    Payments will be collected through PayPal, which accepts credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal accounts.
    If your art piece is not available for pickup at the Fairmont Château Laurier, Franziska Morin from our team will contact you directly to connect you with the artist and assist with coordinating shipping details as well as payment of the shipping.

    Please note: All shipping costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
