How to Register for CALS2025?

To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience at the 11th Annual Canadian Autism Leadership Summit (CALS 2025), please follow these essential steps for pre-registration planning.  

Register Early
  • Pre-registering guarantees your spot at the event and allows us to prepare for your participation. This also helps us plan the logistics and catering needs accurately.
  • Deadline for Early Registration: 31 January 2024. Early registration comes with special pricing, so be sure to register before the deadline to take advantage of discounted rates.
How to Register
  • Visit the registration link to complete your registration form and secure your place. You will be asked to provide basic information such as your name, contact details, and any relevant affiliation or organization.

Once your registration is successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration details and event information.

Support Person

A support person is an individual who accompanies you to assist with personal care, mobility, or other activities necessary for your participation. This could include someone who helps with physical assistance, communication, or any other specific support needs you may have.

If you are planning to bring a support person, please indicate this when registering.

The registration fee for a support person will be waived, and they will be allowed to attend the event alongside you, provided they are registered in advance. 

  • How to Register a Support Person: You will be asked to provide their full name, contact information, and details of the support they will be providing. If your support person requires any specific accommodations or assistance, please include that information in the registration form.
Dietary Restrictions and Preferences

We offer a variety of meal options during the event, but we need to know if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies).

  • How to notify us: You will be asked to provide this information on the registration form. Please be as specific as possible so we can ensure your meals meet your needs. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to our event coordinator F2F at vicki@f2f.com.
Travel Arrangements
  • If you’re traveling from out of town, we recommend booking your travel as soon as possible to secure the best rates and ensure availability.

Payment and Registration Confirmation
  • Payment Process: Upon registration, you will be asked to provide payment details. A receipt will be sent to you once your payment is processed.
  • After your payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with your event registration and ticket information. Further information and any additional materials, such as event schedules, speaker information, and workshop details will be sent out ahead of the event.
Cancellation and Refunds
  • Please refer to our cancellation policy outlined in the registration form for any changes to your plans. Up until February 16, 2024  you may cancel and receive a full refund on your registration to the original form of payment.
  • After February 16, 2024, a refund will not be provided, but you may pass your ticket on to someone else free of charge by contacting us at vicki@f2fe.com. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to the conference secretariat at vicki@f2fe.com.

Leading up to CALS 2025, we will send out important materials, such as the agenda and speaker details. Stay tuned for these emails so you can make the most of your experience. How much does it cost to attend CALS2025?

Travel to Ottawa

Airfare, train, or personal vehicle costs (depending on mode of travel).

Hotel

Rate of CAD 269.00 + tax per night (our rate at the Fairmont).

On-site Transportation

Taxi, shuttle, or bus to and from the event.

Dinner

Dinner costs for each night (unless covered by the event on specified dates – see agenda).

Incidentals

Any additional costs (e.g., snacks, personal items).

Parking

If driving, parking costs at the venue (Valet Parking Rate: $67.80 CAD/day). Please see the following link for alternative parking options.
