Autism Alliance of Canada, as part of the National Disability Network, co-signed an open letter which was featured on CTV to Premier Danielle Smith and Minister Jason Nixon, urging the Province of Alberta to reverse its decision not to pass on the new federal Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) to recipients of « Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped » (AISH).
