In support of the federal government moving forward with a National Autism Strategy, Autism Alliance of Canada* and Kids Brain Health Network partnered for a third year to offer graduate students, postdocs, or research associates the opportunity to contribute to this critical initiative and gain invaluable experience in the community partner engagement, policy development, and knowledge mobilization.
This successful partnership was created in 2020 to provide research trainees to contribute and engage in policy development in autism.
The fellows will gain insight into how research and policy connect by collaborating with members of the Autism Alliance of Canada. They will actively participate in shaping policies related to key areas in a National Autism Strategy, using research to enhance the creation, execution, and assessment of these policies.
Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the Autism Alliance of Canada-Kids Brain Health Network Policy Development Practicum Award! Click here to learn more about our 3 awardees.
