Kelly Bron Johnson Presented with Fourth Annual Jim & Ginette Munson Autism Leadership Award (2025)

Kelly Bron Johnson, an Autistic and Hard-of-Hearing self-advocate, keynote speaker, author, and founder, was was presented with the Fourth Annual Jim & Ginette Munson Autism Leadership Award on Tuesday, April 28 t the 11th Annual Canadian Autism Leadership Summit hosted by Autism Alliance of Canada. She was awarded an artwork piece by artist April Griffin, an Indigenous artist and an autism advocate based in Arborfield, Saskatchewan.

Kelly aims to create more welcoming workplaces where people can use their full talents and energy devoted to their work, not having to worry about hiding their various identities or facing discrimination. As a mixed-heritage Black, non-binary person, she brings her intersectional identity into all her work and aims to break down the stigmas and systemic barriers that exist in society to make the path easier for others.

Kelly is also a Certified Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace Advisor, a Mental Health First Aider, a Grief First Aider, a Workplace Mediator, and holds a Professional Certificate in Restorative Justice from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
